Who's in charge?

Here's my daughter. The one that wanted to do things "her own self". Of course this picture is over twenty years old. See the cute little bangs? They are there because she wanted to cut her own hair. And did. Along those same lines, she never cared much about being told what to do by her brother. Often times I would hear her shouting "You're not the boss of me!" Funny, that hasn't changed much either!

That is a wonderful picture of our Sarah. I can almost hear her say, "You're not the boss of me!"

Luke was one to cut his own hair a number of times. He is sporting jagged bangs in many pictures. Actually, he did become quite accomplished at hair cutting, and now he buzzes his own hair as an adult.

Each of my girls have cut thier own hair at least once. And the term "Me DO!" is often heard around our house.

Thanks for stopping by the Odd Mix.

"Me do it myself." ..was a favorite of my girls. The youngest cut her own bangs, the oldest cut the streamers off the handlebars of her bicycle...saying they will grow back.

I can't believe how many times my youngest (also a redhead) has cut her own hair. And shaved her eyebrows and hollored that he sister isn't the boss!

She's almost 13 now...I hope I can survive!
